Grant Description

On July 9, 2019, a Chinese maintenance team arrived in Grenada and began assisting with the National Track and Field Stadium Technical Cooperation project.

The maintenance team was made up of employees of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, and was intended to assist their Grenadian counterparts in updating and maintaining the Grenada National Athletic Stadium over the course of three years. On July 8, 2022, the Chinese maintenance team completed its mission and returned to China.

Then, on August 12, 2022, a signing ceremony was held for the handover certificate associated with the National Track and Field Stadium Technical Cooperation Project.

The Chinese Government also donated a batch of supplies worth EC 1.5 million for the Grenada National Track and Field Stadium Technical Cooperation Project (captured in Record ID#91510).
