Grant Description

On December 2 2022, the handover ceremony of the "Hope Canteen" aided by China at Nafadji Primary School in District 1 of Bamako was held.

The project was part of a larger initiative that began in 1989 by the Communist Youth League of China called the "Hope Project", which has built more than 20,000 primary schools and more than 6,000 canteens in poor areas of China, ensuring that all school-age children in China have access to education.

The donation was a major innovation, providing a clean and hygienic lunch place for teachers and students of Nafadji Primary School.
