Grant Description

On June 3, 2021, during a handover ceremony of 50 radio/CD players, 5 all-in-one computers, and 10,000 face masks to the Botswana Ministry of Basic Education, Chinese Ambassador Wang Xuefeng announced that the Chinese Embassy had set up annual Chinese Ambassador Scholarship in Botswana to recognize primary students in rural areas for their scholastic achievements.

It was reported on September 8, 2022, that 60 students and 15 teachers across three schools had already benefitted from the scholarship. The school supplies handover is represented by Record ID#103316.
