Grant Description

On April 26, 2022, the Chinese Embassy, represented by Ambassador Hu Zhangliang, donated fifteen water trucks and two fire engines to Sierra Leone. The donation was made as a gift to celebrate its 61st year of independence.

The water trucks ("bowsers") will be used to enhance water service delivery to low-income communities in the western area of Freetown, while the fire engines were for the Lungi International Airport.
