Grant Description

On November 3 and 4, 2022, Ambassador Chao Weidong attended the handover ceremony for the donation of living and non-living materials to the Lomé Youth Center and SOS Children's Village, as well as the launch ceremony of the Social Action Month of the Chinese Embassy in Togo.

The Social Action Month, also called Month of Solidarity, celebrated the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Togo. As part of this initiative, the Chinese Embassy donated rice, sewing machines, tool kits, toys, and other items. The monetary value of the donation is unknown.

The Minister of Basic Development, Youth, and Youth Employment Dossou-Dalmeida and the National Director of SOS Children's Village were present at the ceremony.
