Grant Description
On August 25, 2022, the Chinese Government donated medical supplies worth SBD1.3 million to the Ministry of Health and Medical Services in the Solomon Islands.
The donation includes medical drugs that are within the current essential drugs lists, to treat common infectious diseases and NCDs hypertension or high blood and heart failure including antibiotics for bacterial infections amongst many others. It is much needed during this outbreak of influenza in the Solomon Islands.
The donation came alongside another financial donation of USD 300,000 captured in Record ID#103880.
