Chinese Government donates medical equipment worth USD 224,000 to Sudan under China-Sudan Hospital Cooperation Mechanism

On April 4, 2022, during a renewal ceremony for the Chinese Medical Aid Team Protocol, the Chinese Ambassador to Sudan Ma Xinmin handed over a batch of medical equipment worth USD 224,000 to the Sudanese Ministry of Health ("医者仁心 薪火相传 ——驻苏丹大使马新民在中国援苏医疗队议定书续签仪式暨中国政府援苏医疗设备交接仪式上的讲话").

The donation was the first one to be carried out under the China-Sudan Hospital Cooperation Mechanism, and included respirators, heartrate monitors, electrocardiogram equipment, and oxygen concentrators, among other equipment ("توقيع بروتوكول البعثة الطبية الصينية "37 - 38"").
