Grant Description

On December 2, 2022, Sao Tome and Principe and China signed an assistance cooperation agreement that established plans for medical professionals from Sichuan Hospital in China to train professionals at the Ayres Meneses Hospital, the largest hospital in Sao Tome and Principe. The decision was made at the Ministry of Health of Sao Tome and Principe.

The training will focus on treating aphthomian patients, administering anaesthesia, and providing intensive care, and will come at almost no cost to Sao Tome and Principe.
