Grant Description
On April 27, 2022, Hunan Chemical Vocational Technology College proposed a "Basics of E-Commerce" for Pakistani students at the Chinese Vocational Skills Talent Training Forum in the Sindh province of Pakistan.
The project was intended to familiarize Pakistani students with Chinese business and e-commerce platforms and to empower them to start businesses on these platforms.
On July 23, 2022, a pilot class of 40-50 students was launched with the Dawood University of Engineering and Technology. The course included Chinese language and culture classes, as well as e-commerce classes.
The course concluded in October of 2022 and received certification from the Sindh Vocational Education Committee of Pakistan on December 26, 2022. This pilot project led to an agreement for further classes as reported in Record ID#100459.
