On June 17, 2022, in the Mé-Zochi district, the inaugural ceremony for the new classrooms in the assistance building at the Caixão Grande Primary School (Escola Básica de Caixão Grande) took place. These new classrooms were sponsored by the Chinese Embassy in Sao Tome and Principe.
