Grant Description

On November 30, 2023, and award ceremony was held for recipients of the 2023 China Ambassador Scholarship at the Confucius Institute of the University of Sao Tome. The scholarships were awarded to students studying the Chinese language and culture.

The ceremony was attended by 200 people, including Xu Yingzhen, Chinese Ambassador to Sao Tome and Principe, as well as Special Representative of the Minister of Education of Sao Tome Fernandez, President of the University of Sao Tome Rodriguez, and Chinese Dean of the Confucius Institute Bai Mengxuan.
