Grant Description

On June 2, 2022, the Chinese Consulate General in Recife donated disaster relief materials to the Lionel Brizola Foundation (Pernambuco State), a think tank of the Brazilian Democratic Labor Party. This donation was made in response to significant rain and flooding in the region. The donated supplies included drinking water, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and clothing.

The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. Deputy Consul General Wang Ke presented the donation to the foundation’s chairman, Pernambuco State.
