Grant Description

On Oct 17th, 2023, Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) and Samarkand State University in Uzbekistan signed an agreement to establish the "China Center," a collaborative initiative.

The agreement was signed by Wang Shuguo, president of XJTU, and Khalmuradov Rustam Ibragimovich, rector of Samarkand State University.

Then, on December 22nd, 2023, the China Center, jointly established by Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) and Samarkand State University, was inaugurated in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

During the unveiling ceremony, the two universities also signed the "Memorandum of Understanding on Collaborative Research of Think Tanks between XJTU and Samarkand State University." Initiatives of the Center include student and teacher exchanges and industry-academia collaboration.
