Grant Description

On January 26, the first batch of anti-epidemic and police supplies donated by the Chinese government to the Solomon Islands government arrived in Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands.

The donation is in response to the request of the Solomon government including 50,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines, 20,000 test kits, 60,000 medical masks and other anti-epidemic materials to help the Solomon Islands control the spread of the epidemic. This donation was quickly followed by a second batch delivered on February 18, 2022 (recorded in Record ID#101940).
