Grant Description
On February 10, 2022, the Chinese government donated MWK 129,000,000 to the Malawi Disaster Management Authority.
Chinese Ambassador to Malawi Liu Hongyang handed over the check to Charles Kalemba, representative of President Chakwera and Commissioner of the Malawi Disaster Management Authority. The donation follows tropical storm Anna which hit Malawi earlier.
