On November 2, 2022, the Chinese Ambassador announced the decision to provide humanitarian aid of USD 100,000 for residents of the Batken region affected by the Kyrgyz-Tajik border conflict.

The announcement took place during a meeting between the ambassador and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Azizbek Madmarov.
