As the global cost of cybercrime is projected to soar to $10.5 trillion USD by 2025, the urgency for advanced cybersecurity solutions has never been greater. UK SMEs are targeted by 65,000 cyber attacks daily, costing each business thousands of pounds. Modern software are complex and intricate systems, often containing 10's of millions lines of code.

They contain vulnerabilities which can be exploited to hold companies and individuals hostage or steal information and assets. Research has revealed the average computer developer spends almost half their time dealing with maintenance issues and debugging bad or poor-quality code. Hackers pose a pervasive threat to IT systems of global significance.

Traditional code security testing methods are struggling to keep pace with the sophistication of these systems.

Recognizing this gap, FuSeBMC emerges as a breakthrough solution developed by academics at The University of Manchester. This innovative method employs two powerful engines (Bounded Model Checking and Evolutionary Fuzzing), artificial intelligence, and a groundbreaking "smart-seed" approach to not only meet but exceed the industry's demands for robust secure testing.
