TextMine and Corvus will deliver OdinFuse: a best-in-class platform which will disrupt asset management and data provision markets by providing the structured data and augmented insights required for critical investing, trading and risk insights.
The technology combines world-class innovations drawing upon TextMine's expertise in flexible large language models (LLMs) for managing massive sets of unstructured data and novel ways of combining privileged and public data, and Corvus' sector-leading expertise in event-driven machine learning, providing powerful augmentations of data to add significant value to end users. It also uses novel end-to-end feedback loops to help end users understand the quality and relevance of their data and to improve the LLM that generates the data in the first place.
OdinFuse is demand-led, co-conceived by TextMine and Corvus in collaboration with asset managers, private equity, banks and data providers -- who see the enormous potential of OdinFuse in informing asset allocation decisions and portfolio construction. The project involves a trial with some of the world's largest asset managers and data providers.
The financial service end users (with the top-500 asset managers holding $113.7tn assets under management, including for the world's pension funds) are underserved by a state-of-the-art of data and analytic provision which requires time-intensive and costly manual data input, cleansing and analysis, and which struggles with the complexity required to deliver the real-time data these users need for insights into market trends, momentum or volatility, or to identify alpha signals and inform asset allocation decisions and portfolio construction.
OdinFuse will be a new offering, marketed under license by Corvus for financial sector customers. TextMine will commercialise the LLM in other sectors, alongside existing TextMine technologies, including in procurement, legal and operations -- enabling uniquely data-driven insights to drive productivity and efficiency savings and enable job growth across UK and global supply chains.
