To achieve this, Grape Software is developing an innovative digital food hygiene inspection platform for use by both UK food inspectors and food businesses, which will incorporate AI technology to maximise efficiencies.

This system significantly improves upon the antiquated and laborious process currently in use, which has remained unchanged for over 30-years, being largely paper-based and relying on non-standardised handwritten documentation. By centralising food safety data into one location, it mitigates the risk of businesses losing track of their documentation and simplifies the process of sharing this with inspectors.

Through this platform, which will facilitate, streamline and modernise food safety inspections, Grape Software aims to raise food safety standards on a national level by:
