Integrating CRM Value Chains and promoting local value-added

In line with the CRM Act, the CRM-Value Chain Facility will help to develop and integrate critical raw materials value chains between the EU and selected partner countries, with the two-fold aim to secure reliable supplie of CRM for Europe, and to increase value-added opportunities in the partner countries.

The Facility will promote the cooperation between stakeholders along the value-chains, and pool available resources through a Team-Europe approach.

Furthermore, the enabling environment, first and foremost education & skills, as well as transport and energy infrastructure will equally be adressed.

The Facility will work along 3 main components: i) Intelligence, networks, training and knowledge, ii) B2B matchmaking activities connecting actors and operations along the CRM value chains, and iii) building a pipeline of strategic projects that are of interest to European actors.

The facility will be implemented by EIT Raw Materials and EIT InnoEnergy, permitting access to two top-level EU industry and partnership networks.
