Peptide drugs potentially address limitations of both small molecules and antibodies.
Small molecules struggle to target protein-protein interactions (PPIs), while antibodies cannot access intracellular proteins.
In this project we will develop an AI-driven experimental platform to produce cell-permeable therapeutic peptides made entirely of natural amino acids.
The platform will allow the rapid discovery of cost-effective, stable, cell-permeable, and high-affinity peptide binders for use as research tools, in diagnostics, and as therapeutics against intracellular proteins previously considered undruggable targets.
