Grant Description
On April 14, 2022, the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Mali held an award ceremony to commemorate the 27th Chinese medical team in Mali. A welcome ceremony was also held for the 28th medical team’s arrival in Mali Hospital.
Chen Zhihong, the Chinese Ambassador to Mali, and Sangare, the Minister of Health of Mali, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. General Guyer, General Director of Mali, Ms. Sogoba, Director of the Mali Hospital, and Liu Jie, Business Counselor of the Embassy, also attended the ceremony.
The 28th medical team worked in the Mali Hospital, a designated hospital for COVID-19 patients received by the Mali government. An awarding ceremony took place on November 30, 2023, attended by Ambassador Chen Zhihong. The ceremony marked the end of their mission and the official takeover of their successors, the 29th medical team.
