Charleston stands for CHARLES University Programme for Sustainable Goals, Training, Openness and Novelty in Research.

It's a unique opportunity, inviting 20 exceptional postdoctoral researchers from any nationality, provided they meet the MSCA mobility condition and have a doctoral degree with up to eight years of research experience.Central to the programme are three key objectives: fostering progress towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), enhancing support for postdoctoral career advancement, and offering fellows enriching intersectoral experiences.

The heart of Charleston lies in its robust 24-month fellowship at Charles University, supplemented by a mandatory three to six months of practical experience in non-academic settings.
