As an iconic historic landmark in Bristol, Clifton Observatory Ltd. has been researching opportunities to improve our visitor experience and develop cutting-edge ways to showcase a culturally-rich, yet limited tourist attraction. By partnering with Zubr, developers of unique user-friendly AR and VR storytelling experiences, we will develop a creative solution.

Utilising mixed reality (AR/VR, sound, lighting) we will create an immersive experience in the historic Giant's Cave. Our innovative use of emerging technologies will enhance visitor experiences at this iconic location, unleashing a wealth of untapped mythology and history that will encourage increased footfall and bring greater tourism to the surrounding area.

Adding an immersive experience will result in financial growth of the commercial business and create a blueprint for other arts/culture organisations to follow. We aim to install a suite of mixed-reality digital interpretations alongside enhanced sound and lighting features to reinvigorate the space.
