Flow chemistry represents a promising tool for the fine chemical and pharmaceutical industries to manufacture chemicals and drugsin a cheaper, greener and safer way.
However current continuous flow systems present technical limitations, especially regardinghandling solids and liquid viscous, which have hindered their adoption by the industry.
Today, only 33% of the chemical processes canbe conducted in continuous flow systems due to solid particles that clog the process. At Qfluidics, we have developed a breakthroughtechnology that overcomes the limitations of conventional flow systems.
Our proprietary technology- the liquid tube, allows to handlesolids without clogging, paving the way toward a wide range of chemical processes and enables process intensification, making thistechnology ideal for industrial scale.
With the support of the EIC we will industrialize our liquid tube flow reactors, bringing to the marketmodular solutions for research and industrial scale applications.
