HoloEdge Classical Quest 3 headset platform

An award-winning team of collaborators are creating 'HoloEdge Classical', a new digital platform which will bring the unique world of classical music into audiences' homes via the Meta Quest 3 headset. This project combines one of the leading innovators in Opera (Dafydd Hall Williams from Ulster Touring Opera), with Belfast based games company Whitepot Studios, which worked with Kuato Studios to bring their multi-award-winning app Dino Tales to Nintendo Switch and the latest versions of Android and iOS.

By harnessing mind-blowing volumetric video technology, as well as opera content enjoyed by millions globally, this team will meet the next generation of classical music fans wherever they are, and however it fits into their changing lives.

'HoloEdge Classical' will harness the emerging medium of 3D film to create holographic performances viewable using a headset, as well as XR and 2D content licensed from the world's leading opera houses and concert halls.
