PHYBATT covers the development of algorithms and models to be embedded in the BMS to allow the battery to operate within the safety boundaries at any time and in each battery operating mode.
The models to be developed and embedded in BMS algorithms can be applied in real-time battery control for various applications, such as (fast) charging, peak shaving in the grid and ancillary services with energy storage, leading to an improved techno-economical offering. This adds a Vehicle to Grid (V2G) mode corresponding to many support situations.
