Nimrud delivers significant advancements in quality, automation and scalability of high-end imaging with its breakthrough lens simulation technology, revolutionising workflows and unlocking new possibilities in real-time image transformation.
Lens aberrations analysis and correction is a fundamental part of sophisticated imaging pipelines in a diversity of key UK sectors, including the creative industries such as Film, TV, Video Gaming, and Photography.
Today, the Film & TV industry lacks lens emulation pipelines that are accurate, repeatable, and scalable, forcing them to handle lens aberrations simplistically: relying heavily on labour-intensive techniques to manually capture and approximate only a limited range of optical characteristics. This traditional approach is costly, time-consuming, inefficient, and inconsistent.
Nimrud has broken through these limitations with an end-to-end technology for profiling, removing and synthetically reproducing the unique optical aberrations of any complex objective lens, automating workflows while enhancing output quality.
The initial market for this technology is the Film & TV industry, which is continuing to expand in activity globally, most prominently in the UK. Nimrud's technology has additional applications in adjacent sectors where lens simulation can offer a number of technical, creative and commercial advantages, including Video Gaming, Photography, GenerativeAI and consumer experiences such as AR/VR (Metaverse/Apple Vision Pro).
