**Public description**
uMix is a tool which addresses the decline in musical literacy in the UK which is preventing people from reaping the mental and physical benefits that participating in music activities provides. uMix will make it easier to learn music online by offering improved customisability and functionality over existing tools, and featuring high quality professional sung learning tracks.
The amateur performing industry is a powerful experiential marketing vehicle for repertoire publishers and choral artists; if a musician has performed a piece of music they're likely to have a stronger emotional connection to it and engage more with the composer in future.
A survey by Agency EA in 2019 revealed that 75% of brand-side respondents thought experiential marketing was their most successful marketing tactic.
As our catalogue grows, uMix will become a powerful aggregator of choral repertoire, boosting the visibility of the artists whose music is featured. This will also enable us to address issues of equality and diversity in classical repertoire, providing holistic benefit to several areas of the classical music sector including publishers and artists as well as individual amateur musicians.
