NGI0 Review is a unique technical review and support hub for the Next Generation Internet initiative.
Open source projects funded by NGI can apply for concrete technical assessments, audits and scans by experts in an open, collaborative environment.
NGI0 Review levers the proven successful NGI Zero 'greenhouse environment' where selected open source projects are supported by world class domain experts in various fields such as security, accessibility, license compliance, standardization, internationalisation, etcetera.
The experts participating in NGI0 Review provide reviews, guidance and mentoring so selected NGI projects can meet important requirements and needs of internet scale.
Using a hybrid model of paid professional services and volunteer activity, the open collaborative environment allows anyone to contribute, including our extensive network of open source developers, data scientists, cybersecurity experts, standards experts, user interface designers and many more.
Organized outreach and ecosystem engagement through ICT inclusivity experts like the Association for Progressive Communication and the oldest European internet charity NLnet foundation will disseminate the output of NGI0 Review to civil society, human rights and consumer organisations as well as mainstream media and educational environments.
Finally, technology of selected projects can become part of the largest open source software collection currently available through the Nix community which packages software to be reproducible, reliable and verifiable.
