The Catalan European Researchers Night (#NitRecerCat) project consists in a two years proposal for 2022 and 2023 centered on two main activities: The European Researchers Night (ERN) and Researchers at Schools (R@S). The well-known ERN will be held on September 30th 2022 and 29th 2023.
During these two years, eight different partners will bring research and researcher closer to more than 30000 people and 10000.
A part of ERN, the present proposal also includes the Researchers at Schools (R@S), which adds a much better and longer interaction of pupils with the research from the Catalan institutions. 15 schools (and near 4000 students) will become #NitEduCat Schools, with two-years of stable collaboration between a team of researchers and the schools (primary and secondary).
The will focus on making the general public aware about the present mission-oriented program of European Commission (EU), mainly in the idea of how Researchers can help to change the world (Researchers for Change). #NitRecerCat is divided in two main activities spread throughout the Catalan territory:oCatalan European Researchers Night (Nit Europea de la Recerca, ERN) La Recerca va a lEscola During Friday morning, researchers are going to schools to show their research and vice versa.

Women in Science based on the exhibition Cientfiques Catalanes 2.0 will be shown in all the locations and venues (online).
Esopegat amb la Recerca During Saturday morning, research will be found in everyday locations, from markets, to museums, malls, etc, oResearchers at School (R@S) NitEduCat Schools Going beyond single dissemination activities, this part of the project aims to develop 15- medium-long-term projects that promote stable collaboration between a team of researchers and primary/secondary school.
