Qasim Power Generation Company provides PKR 10 million in interest-free loans to Pakistan Electricity Regulatory Authority social responsibility fund On March 31, 2022, Qasim Power Generation Company, a subsidiary of PowerChina, signed a memorandum of understanding with Akhuwat to provide interest-free loans to needy Pakistanis as part of the Pakistan National Electricity Regulatory Authority's (NEPRA) Power with Prosperity drive.

In 2022, Qasim Power Generation Company contributed PKR 10 million to the program, which is intended to alleviate poverty and promote the adoption of solar energy in the country.

On December 16, 2022, Qasim Power Generation Company was honoured at NEPRA's Corporate Social Responsibility Awards for their contribution to the Power with Prosperity drive.
