Grant Description

On December 31, 2022, a handover ceremony was held for a donation of school supplies, sports equipment, and daily necessities from PowerChina to the Al-Mustafa Orphanage in Karachi. The donation included school bags, pencils, cricket bats and balls, sportswear, shoes, and rice, among other goods.

The ceremony was attended by staff from PowerChina's Pakistan Representative Office and the East China Hospital, as well as the director of the Al-Mustafa Orphanage and 40 orphans.

PowerChina has performed 4 volunteer activities and donations to this Orphanage, including rooftop PV power and stationery and open-day visit to CPEC projects.
POWERCHINA donates stationery & sports kits to orphans in Karachi Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
