Grant Description

Bactery is developing a new way of harvesting clean electricity from right under your feet.

Soil is a great source of nutrients for plant growth, and happens to be a source of electrons produced by endogenous 'electric' bacteria.

Our soil-rechargeable bacterial battery, aka bactery, captures these electrons, providing a 24/7 source of clean electricity, even in the most remote parts of the world.

We are on a mission to address the poor energy infrastructure on farms and accelerate the shift towards data-driven agriculture. With our bacteries, worrying about battery replacement or expensive energy infrastructure will be a thing of the past. Simply install and reap the benefits of reliable data.
