Grant Description

On August 12-13, China's 15th medical team in Liberia conducted a voluntary medical check-up in Buchanan city and Wee Statutory District of Grand Bassa County. The team consists of nine members.

They treated over 300 patients during the medical outreach and provided education on malaria prevention, public health, personal health, and traditional Chinese medicine approaches to treating musculoskeletal pain.

The medical team also provided 318 boxes of medicine to the patients and donated various medical supplies, including disposable masks, caps, medical gloves, hand sanitizers, and 200 boxes of anti-malarial drugs.
