Grant Description

On June 1, 2022, the Chinese Embassy in Liberia donated a batch of cultural and sports supplies to students at the Star Foundation School in Monteserrado.

Chinese Ambassador Ren Yisheng signed a handover certificate agreeing to assist with the school's repair projects (see Record ID#102380).

Following the renovation, the school will be renamed "China-Liberia Friendship School." The donation took place during a celebration of International Children's Day. The donation was intended to support the school's education and youth development amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
