Dynamic asset lifecycle reporting technology, providing investors with a level of granularity not been seen before in the asset finance industry.

Twist Solutions Ltd (Twist) is an SME who is developing a digital approach to help encourage a more sustainable pattern of consumption, with producers encouraged to take greater responsibility for the longevity and end-of-life of their products. Our mission is to help producers overcome the financial and technical challenges that come with this responsibility, meaning they can make more with less.

In this project, we will focus on the e-mobility sector, as an exemplar of what can be done in other product categories. We will work with a number of different electric vehicles companies (including electric vans, e-cars, etc.) to build an asset view which extends data we are already collecting from in-product usage, bill of materials and end of life.

This critical data will assist financial institutions, insurers, and product manufacturers themselves to be able to view and make more informed decisions.

This novel asset view will include not only usage data directly from the product but also it's emissions, which is all highly relevant information for scope-3 reporting. This level of environmental/sustainability data has not been produced successfully before because of the massively diverse datasets holding information. It will be presented as an API data source, available for parties to plug into which will give a real-time view of scope-3 emissions, something that is lacking in today's ESG landscape, especially for emissions reporting.
