Hydrogen Liquefaction Prototype Using Sustainable Manufacturing Technology

This project is to evaluate the possibility of building an innovative heat exchanger using advanced manufacturing technologies which, will dramatically reduce both the cost, size, and construction time of heat exchangers used in harsh environments.

The result of the project will be a test unit and generation of IP, the latter being essential given the transformative impact the technology is expected to have on the supply chain in at least one industry, itself a key component in the supply chain of many industries. At the moment, there are no companies manufacturing the proposed component in the UK.
