Grant Description

The Chinese Embassy in Kiribati donated supplies and equipment to help rebuild Kauma Adventist High School after a devastating fire in early November 2022.

The handover ceremony was held on November 23rd and attended by representatives from the Chinese Embassy, the Kiribati government, the Seventh-day Adventist Church which runs the school, and local media.

The donation included laptops, printers, computer desks, file cabinets, portable speakers as well as agriculture tools and kitchenware, which were all handed over to SDA representatives during the ceremony.
