Grant Description
On August 26, 2022, Hunan Provincial Government signed a donation agreement with Laos in which it committed to donate a batch of agricultural equipment.
The donation of 12 machinery and equipment consisting tractors, rice seedling throwers, rice transplanters, laser graders and more totaled RMB 1.6 million. On November 26, 2022, the equipment was shipped from China for Laos.
On December 16, 2022, the reception ceremony for the donation of agricultural machinery and equipment from the Hunan Provincial People's Government to the Rice and Cash Crop Breeding Center of the Rural Development Research Institute of the Lao Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry was held in Vientiane.
