Grant Description
On November 7, 2021, the Chinese Ambassador Liao Liqiang and Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Rania al-Mashat have signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement for unspecified purposes in which China provides RMB 400 million. On January 25, 2022, the Egyptian House of Representatives approved this agreement.
Chinese Development Bank and the Central Bank of Egypt will help facilitate the transaction.
