Nuumad travel health platform

Nuumad is creating a browser-based e-consultation platform that allows healthcare professionals to conduct complex travel health consultations. Us at Nuumad aim to create a network of travel health clinics across the UK, offering access to our digital solution to dentist surgeries to start with. Following this, we would look to possibly scale to other private clinics, pharmacies, or even GP surgeries.

Currently there is a real need for more travel health specialist clinics across the UK, as outside of big cities there are few specialist clinics: GP surgeries do not have the capacity to take on such services and large pharmacy chains are not really innovating in this space either, which means there is a real demand and also a skills-shortage of specialist travel health professionals.

Our platform aims to address this issue in the form of a decision-making component, where all relevant information will be inputted by the HCP during the consultation, with the platform providing suggested vaccination options. This is able to massively reduce the burden on the HCPs - they can become qualified to use our system with only 8 hours of training.

The patient-facing side of our application will offer patients the opportunity to find out information about travel health vaccinations, location of surgeries, and make bookings with their health records being sent directly to the location they've booked with.
