In August 2022, PowerChina donated to the government of Pakistan through the All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises' Association to support reconstruction efforts following severe flooding in the country.

This donation was part of a larger effort by the All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises' Association (APCEA) to raise funds for the Prime Minister's Flood Relief Fund.

In total, APCEA raised PKR 15,508,420 from various state-owned and private-sector entities operating in Pakistan (Umbrella Record ID#102726).

The funds were handed over to the Pakistani National Disaster Management Authority during a handover ceremony on August 25, 2022.

Non-state donors include United Energy Pakistan Limited, Hilong Oil Service Co., and other unspecified Chinese companies.

PowerChina also donated USD 104,000 to the Pakistani Prime Minister's Flood Relief Fund (captured in Record ID#100426) and sent teams to assist in clearing flood damage in Tangir (captured in Record ID#100429).
