Grant Description

On October 21, 2022, during a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the General Representative of PowerChina in Pakistan presented a check worth USD 104,000 for the Prime Minister's Flood Relief Fund.

The donation was given in response to a call for continued assistance from the Pakistani government following severe flooding in the country.

PowerChina also contributed to a larger donation from the All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises' Association (captured in Record ID#100428), sent teams to assist in clearing flood damage in Tangir (captured in Record ID#100429), and donated other batches of unspecified materials.
