Grant Description

On March 4, 2022, the Chinese Government donated a batch of sports equipment to the Government of Cabo Verde. The Chinese Embassy in Cabo Verde held a handover ceremony at the latter's National Stadium.

According to the Government of Cabo Verde, the donation is intended to improve physical education in schools and assist in the creation of specialized centers for high performance sports.

At the time of the donation, it was the largest sports equipment donation Cabo Verde had received from a foreign partner.
