Grant Description

On August 15, 2022, the Chinese Government provided 400,000 COVID-19 vaccines to Niger. The vaccines were delivered to Niamey, the capital of Niger.

Jiang Feng, China's Ambassador to Niger, Tongni Minister of Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts, Hamid (Minister of Health of Deni), and Omaru, Executive Manager of the Nur Foundation founded by the wife of the President of Niger, attended the delivery ceremony at the airport. The estimated monetary value of this donation is $7,200,000 USD.
