Grant Description

On January 21, 2022, the China-Dominica Friendship Hospital held a handover ceremony for the donation of medical equipment from the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission.

The ceremony was attended by Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health Wyke, Director of the China-Dominican Friendship Hospital Blanc, CEO James, First Secretary Pan Zhaohui, Head of Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Embassy in Dominica, and Captain Zhang Hao of the fourth batch of Guangdong Sun Yat-sen University medical team to aid Dominica The monetary value of this donation is unknown however it consisted of ophthalmology and cardiovascular devices at the Hospital's request.
