Grant Description

On November 11, 2022, the Philippine Chinese Education Center hosted the "China Ambassador Education Fund" 8th Chinese School Student Scholarship Award Ceremony and 3rd Chinese School Teacher Award Ceremony.

Ambassador Huang Xilian presented awards and scholarships. 17 teachers and 81 students received recognition and funding during the ceremonies. The monetary value of the awards and scholarships is unknown.

Ambassador Huang said that the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines has always attached great importance to Chinese education and launched the "Chinese Ambassador Education Fund" Chinese school student scholarship and bursary project in 2015. Since then, over 1,000 students from 90 schools have received the award.
