Grant Description

On June 7, 2022, the Chinese Embassy donated radio broadcasting equipment to the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), the Philippine News Agency, the Philippine Broadcasting Service (PBS), and the Government Communications Academy.

The handover ceremony was led by Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian and Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar in Manila, Philippines.

The donation includes broadcasting and I.T. equipment, including a 10-kilowatt FM band digital audio broadcasting transmitter that will be placed in the Government Communications Academy in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. The monetary value of the donation is unknown.
