On April 20, 2022, Mauritanian Minister of Health, Mokhtar Ould Dahi, received a new batch of one million Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines from the People’s Republic of China at Nouakchott International Airport. The donation is the 5th batch of its kind and aims to help Mauritania vaccinate as many of its citizens as possible.
